Tights That Got It Right

Trade those uniform black running tights in for a pop of color this spring. I have seen every color under the sun this season and love how even color blocking has made it’s way to our sweaty world. P.S. A strip of color is a great way to transition into an all over hue. These tights by lululemon are the perfect pair for the FitGirl transitioning from all black everything below the waist! P.S. I was that girl. I was afraid that my large athletic legs would overpower any color that wasn’t black, however these color blocked pair have made me a believer in color down low! Try them and step out of your all black box too. And these Under Armour tights?!  Tight in all the right places and the waistband couldn’t be more perfect. I was hesitant to wear such a bright color on bottom, but after a few sweat sessions and several double takes I am convinced that “hibiscus” is the new black!

Sporty Kicks

High tops should be “high” on your spring fashion shopping list this year for sure! Stay low to the ground with a flat pair or give your stilettos a run for their money with a sneaker wedge. I spun around until I was dizzy in these bright color high tops from Reebok during Zumba. The bright colors coupled with the awesome cushioning made these girls a winning pair. I can’t imagine taking a dance class without them now. I loved how supported my ankle was (sans the bulk) and how free the balls of my feet felt during turns… love love love these babies. And after class I pranced up and down 5th avenue in these sporty chic wedges by Puma. Build your outfit from the shoe up! The Sky Wedge is one of those colorful statement-makers built to provoke stares and spark sneaker crushes. Sporty meets sassy in this winning pair.

Shoulder Swag

The right gym bag should be organized, cute, not too big or too small…oh and a chameleon – rock worthy in the locker room, at the office, and over a three day weekend. And guess what? I found one that is all that and then some. Lug has most definitely upped my shoulder swag game. With all the compartments beautifully placed I am no longer digging for my phone, metro card or lip gloss….I know where everything is and I love that. Plus the color options are crazy. My mani loved peeping out of these thumb holes and the ruching made all my fit gear “high fashion” instantly. Sorry hoodies and zip-ups you have been upstaged. My arms have a new boo! Go Bright Or Go Home

Neon colors are everywhere this spring, and guess what? Fitness fashion is not exempt. These tops are not only standouts in the gym but can also double as weekend or day wear. I mean who doesn’t love gear that does double duty? Can you say sexy, sporty, slimming three times fast? I absolutely adore this tank by lululemon. The drop back shows off your rear view muscles beautifully, and the built in bra keeps your girls super secure. I wear this to yoga first, and then after, I slip a maxi skirt over my tights and grab lunch with friends. How are you going to wear yours? And P.S. Tops that feel like second skin are so in! I love how this racer back tank from VSX Sport wicked away sweat during my 5K run, yet layered beautifully under my jean jacket during my Saturday grocery run.
