Low calorie and good for you (when sipped in moderation) wine is my favorite FitGirl drink. Intriguing in both taste and creation, I am a super huge fan of fermented grapes. I also love a good cocktail! So if you are a wineo like me, then you are going to love these healthy yet tasty wine based recipes. Grab a stemmed glass, change it up, mix it up and serve it up.
Ingredients:
2 cucumbers
1 1/2 cups coconut water
750-ml bottle rose
1/2 cup gin
Directions:
Thinly slice 2 cucumbers. Reserve 12 slices and place the rest in a pitcher with 1 1/2 cups coconut water. Refrigerate for 1 hour, then remove cucumber and add a 750-ml bottle of rose and 1/2 cup gin. Serve over ice and garnish with reserved cucumber slices.
Ingredients:
4 oz. red wine
1 Tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 Tablespoon fresh squeezed orange juice
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
Directions:
Mix red wine, lemon, orange and sugar together and pour in a red wine glass.
Ingredients:
2 peeled, cored, chopped pears
juice of 2 lemons
thyme sprigs
chilled sparkling dry wine
Directions:
Combine 2 peeled, cored, chopped pears and the juice of 2 lemons (about 6 tablespoons) in a food processor and puree until smooth. Divide mixture among six glasses, add a thyme sprig to each, and top with chilled sparkling dry wine.

Ingredients:
5 blackberries
1/2 sprig rosemary
4 ounces merlot
splash of Chambord or other raspberry liqueur
Directions:
Drop 5 blackberries and 1/2 sprig rosemary into each of six rocks glasses; muddle. Add ice, if desired, then fill each glass with 4 ounces merlot; stir. Top with a splash of Chambord or other raspberry liqueur and garnish with berries or rosemary.
