Beet- 1 whole beet (including the root)

Carrots- 5 medium

Golden Delicious Apples- 2medium

Lemons- 2 small

Pineapple- 1 cup

Garlic- 1/2 inch



Process all ingredients in a juicer, shake or stir and serve.


Why so RAD?

My Spelman sister Jenay is a juicing queen, so I certainly couldn’t leave her out of “FitGirl Shout Out Week.” Beetroot juice has been shown to help the body respond better to exercise, by balancing oxygen use and increasing stamina…so I sipped half of this baby before my run today and the other half after. I truly felt like I had more energy and my goodness is it yummy! Try it and kiss your afternoon cup of Joe goodbye!
